Signalman regularly checks the level in your oil storage tank and allows your supplier's computer to monitor it for you.. This system employs a PC and a modem, typically installed at an oil Distribution point, to handle incoming calls made by the Oil Signalman.

The Oil Signalman is simply plugged into the Customer's direct dial telephone point along with the existing telephone or fax equipment.
During calls made to the PC, the Oil Signalman is directed to collect the radio transmissions made by the tank transmitter fitted, together with a probe, to the Customer's oil storage tank. The tank transmitter and probe are the same as employed by the Oil Watchman.

The radio transmissions contain various information including the current level of oil in the tank. The information collected is sorted by the Tank Signal System software and presented to the operator in a variety of screen enquiry functions and printed reports suited to specific applications. Having sight of the consumer's ongoing stock levels delivers numerous significant benefits to the oil Company and Customer alike.
